Music is an important part of our worship here at St. Mary's, particularly in our Sunday morning Eucharist.
All of the music at St. Mary's is overseen by our Director of Music, Luca Wetherall.
The church possesses a three manual Walker organ by J.W. Walker built in 1876. The organ is a key part of our church's music and has been awarded a Grade II Historic Organ Certificate. The church also has a vintage Steinway Grand Piano. Both the organ and the piano are in vital need of repair and maintenance. Any donations that can support this process are highly appreciated.
The church has two choirs which sing upto three times a month at St Mary's, our chamber choir (for those who are able to read sheet music) and our community choir. Both choirs are relaxed, friendly, and supportive with no attendance requirement or cost to join.
Any enquiries about joining the choir or about the wider musical life of the church should be directed to Luca: music.stmarysacton@gmail.com
